On Monday 12th March, 12 children from year 5 & year 6 children were chosen to attend a WHF debating competition in the Civic offices in Swindon.
After three knockout rounds of debating Drove team 2 won all of their debates and went through to the final round against Haydon Wick primary school.
In the final round, they debated this house believes that the internet does more harm than good. Drove team 2 were the opposition and narrowly missed out on victory with an amazing show of debating context, strategy and style.
Drove team 2 came second place in the overall competition and proudly represented our school with knowledge, debating skills and behaviour.
