In May, pupils from KS2 took part in a competition held by Swindon Borough Council, on behalf of the Hearing Support Team, to design their new logo.
As part of the school’s drive to support the team, who visit regularly to work with our students, and continue to raise Deaf awareness, the pupils were encouraged to remember what they have learnt so far and enter their own ideas.
There were several entries from our children, and all should be proud as the efforts were of a high standard.
The school were immensely proud to discover that all three prizes were awarded to Drove. With two runners up and the winner it is fantastic to see that the children embrace diversity and understanding for their fellow pupils.
Congratulations to all.
The winning design will be seen across Swindon on the HST paperwork.
