Drove’s work with parents on the subject of online safety has been highlighted in a newly published book. Titled Meet the Parents: How Schools Can Work Effectively with Families to Support Children’s Learning, the book is a guide for schools looking to build strong and productive relationships with the families of their pupils.
A case study documenting the work of The White Horse Federation and eight of its primary schools, including Drove, is included in the book.
Online safety is an integral part of our curriculum. We believe it is our responsibility to educate pupils about the dangers of the internet and teach them how to be safe online. To do this, we work closely with parents and ensure that they too help their children to use the internet safely.
