On Thursday 9th May Year One went to the Cotswold Wildlife Park as part of their learning for Science and their topic.
We had a lovely day exploring the park and seeing a range of animals. We were lucky enough to have a talk from the Rangers about African Animals. The children asked lots of different questions about the animals to gain a wider understanding.
Here are some of Year 1's comments on the day:
“ I had a great day on the trip we saw loads of animals that I have never seen before.”
“ That bird looks like it has spider web on their heads.”
“ Why do giraffes have long necks?”
“ The penguins look like humans with flippers.”
“ The train was the best part of my day, it was so cool!”
